The all-new SLX series of rods provides anglers with a revamped and eye-catching aesthetic coupled with new Shimano rod technology to deliver tournament-level performance and versatility to cover any technique. The redesigned SLX lineup features Shimano's proprietary DIAFLASH technology — carbon tape diagonally wrapped in opposite directions on the outermost layer of the butt section to form an array of "X" shapes — to prevent twisting and enhance an angler's pulling power. The comprehensive series of casting and spinning rods expands upon the previous generation of SLX rods and now features two models specifically for anglers throwing large swimbaits. Donning Titanium Oxide guides, the redesigned SLX series features EVA split-grip handles with custom-etched logos to provide anglers all-day comfort and added performance whether it's a weeknight tournament or in pursuit of the next personal best.

• Construction & Technology: They feature a full carbon blank enhanced with Diaflash technology—a diagonal carbon tape wrap on the butt section that increases pulling power, reduces twisting under pressure, and helps the rod maintain its shape
• Guides: Equipped with Shimano Hardlite guides, which are light, strong, and durable enough for both mono and braided lines
• Reel Seat & Grip: The rods feature custom VSS-style (spinning) or ECS-style (casting) reel seats with a carbon locking collar, designed for comfort and, on many models, direct blank contact for increased sensitivity. They utilize comfortable split-grip EVA handles
• Versatility & Performance: The lineup includes a wide variety of actions—ranging from moderate-fast for treble hook baits to extra-fast for jigs and worms—suitable for techniques like flipping, frogging, and light rig casting
• Design: These rods are designed to pair aesthetically and functionally with Shimano SLX reels, offering a, modern, sleek black and blue finish
